We are very much aware of the irony. Advertising a communications service to the Amish online. But we are also aware that most Amish businesses work closely with non-Amish: Employees, drivers, and other business associates. How Does It Work? You decide what communications services you need. We provide you with a unique, private, and safe email address, a shared fax line to send & receive faxes, a shared phone number to receive voicemail and text messages, and deliveries of printed materials to your business.
Unique, Private, Safe The email addresses we provide are unique to your business. Every email address has two parts. You choose the first part: It can be your business name, your phone number (if you have one), or anything else you like. The second part identifies us (mapleholt.net) as your service provider. There is also no public listing of email addresses. The only people who have it are the people you give it to!
Sending & Receiving Faxes We can receive faxes for you on our shared fax line, and we can also send them for you. Fax senders will need to identify your business as the recipient of the fax, and we will deliver the printed fax to you.
Receiving Voicemail & Text Messages We can receive voicemail messages and text messages for you if you don't have your own phone line or if that phone line doesn't receive texts. This service uses a shared phone line, so callers will need to identify you as the recipient of the message. The voicemail greeting will provide instructions. We will then deliver printed voicemail and text messages to you.
Delivery Our service rates include three (3) deliveries to your business per month. You can select delivery frequency (next day, 3 times per week, weekly), and after included deliveries, each delivery will be billed on your next statement at $5. There is never an additional charge for delivering emails or text messages to your own fax number.
